Joann Sfar; cartoonist, film maker, novelist and much more, joined me to talk about his work. His latest film, an adaptation of his book series, The Rabbi’s Cat, can be found on Netflix for those inclined. His other film is a biography of Serge Gainsbourg, Vie Heroique. Other books by Sfar available in english include The Professors Daughter, The Dungeon series of books, Vampire Loves and the Little Vampire series and Klezmer. Be sure to also check out his amazing instagram feed.
Thanks to Joann for taking the time out of his busy schedule to join me.
I live in Indiana in an area that got devastated by tornadoes and a couple of freinds of mine who are both Vegens and have a child who has Crohn's disease. They are saying it maybe 3-5 days before they have power again. So can you suggest any good Vegen/gluten free meals I can make enough of quickly that will feed a family of four for a while and that will keep for a few days (i.e. don't need to be kept cold?)
I unfortunately am not a gf expert, but I’m gonna post this in hopes that people will send some ideas your way.
