truuuuuuuuuuth. I loved Kevin Smith films growing up, but they really haven’t stood the test of time for me. Clerks was my SHIT when I was in high school, but if you actually go back and watch it you notice things like how forced the dialogue is, etc. Kevin Smith is an important filmmaker, no doubt, and he’s given me plenty of laughs, but this analysis of Chasing Amy is on the money.
